Free Shipping & Merchandise Delivery

   We ship our area rugs and other products to any street address location within the Continental United States at no charge to our customers, usually utilizing U.P.S. Ground Service or U.S. Postal Service package delivery methods. Note that selection of the specific delivery company, shipping method and confirmation option for our initial free delivery of customer orders is at our sole discretion. The "Free Shipping" offered to our customers on this web sites does not include delivery to Alaska, Hawaii or non-mainland U.S. territories, but only includes delivery at no charge to street addresses within 48 states on the mainland United States. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii or non-mainland U.S. territories may be arranged for additional shipping and handling fees. The "7 to 14 Day" delivery time mentioned on our web site is an estimated shipping duration which can vary depending shipment transit distances and shipping agent used. If you wish to purchase faster and/or specialized shipping methods, please feel free to contact us. Please note that we currently do not accept orders for delivery of merchandise outside of the United States of America. Using "Rug Finder" Search to Find Specific Products

   To make your online shopping experience even more convenient, we have developed our "Rug Finder" search tool so you may quickly search our entire web site for the exact area rug (or handmade tapestry) that you are looking for. Our "Rug Finder" search tool is located in the left hand column of any page of this web site (and to the left of this paragraph.) To use this tool simply select one or more of the following search conditions or parameters: Color (i.e. - the primary color of the rug), Style (i.e. - the type of design in the pattern), Collection (i.e. - the collection name on this web site), Size/Shape (i.e. - the size range or the shape if not rectangular), Quality (i.e. - material, construction and quality level), Price (i.e. - the price range of the 6' x 9' approximate size category). Once you've selected the search criteria you want, click the "Search" button for the search results to be displayed as thumbnail images. (Additionally, the "Reset" button to the left of the Search button will clear all the search parameters back to a neutral start position at any time.)

   A simple search would involve selecting just one of these parameters, such as finding all oval shaped rugs by selecting "Oval" in the Size/Shape parameter. A more advanced search would involve selecting more than one parameter, such as selecting "Blue" in the Color parameter and "Runner" in the Size/Shape parameter in order to view "all hallway runners that have blue as their primary color."

   Where you find that an advanced search produces no results, this is because no product we carry at the moment meets all criteria you have selected to search for. For example, if you select "Pink" in the Color parameter, "Octagon" in the Size/Shape parameter and "Aubusson Handmade" in the Quality parameter, you will get "no results" because we currently do not have a "pink, octagon shaped Aubusson Weave handmade rug" currently displayed, (actually a rare item.) The solution is simply to change what you are searching for and/or broaden the search by reducing the number of search parameters you use, (such as searching only under Color and Size/Shape.)

Return Policy & Money Back Guarantee

   You may return an unsoiled and undamaged hand-made or machine-made rug purchased from DesignerFloor Area Rugs, that you are not satisfied with for any reason, within 30 days from date received for a refund of the purchase price minus our unrecoverable shipping and handling costs which will not exceed 25% of the purchase price. Non-warranty return shipping costs are responsibility of the customer and non-warranty refunds are always subject to deduction of our unrecoverable shipping and handling costs (not to exceed 25% of the purchase price of the item).

   DesignerFloor does fully guarantee all our machine-loomed rugs to be new and free from factory defect at the time it is shipped to the customer and guarantees all our hand-made rug products to be as represented within the product specifications detailed on our website for that item.

In most cases, if you see a handmade rug or tapestry displayed on this web site, it is safe to assume that the item is available and ready for immediate delivery. At this time, we do not accept special orders or custom orders from customers to have specific handmade items manufactured for them. Although we work hard to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information possible on our web site, it still can sometimes occur that an item "sells out" before we have had an opportunity update our web site with that information.    At DesignerFloor Area Rugs, we do offer further discounts down from our already marked down sale prices when a quantity of two or more of any type of handmade rug or tapestry is ordered at the same time from our web site. Normally this type of further discounting of handmade rugs or tapestries is something offered exclusively to interior decorators and "within the trade" dealers, however currently we will consider further discounts with any customer willing to purchase two or more handmade items at once and who asks for our consideration of this. The amount of further discount depends on the size and value of the order being considered and each request for further discounting is considered on a case by case basis.
