Padding and Installation
     For handmade rugs:  A premium quality rug pad or underlay should be placed underneath any of our handmade rugs in order to prevent slipping on the floor surface and increase wear life.  You may review our entire selection of rug pads and underlays by clicking the “Padding and Underlay” text link in the left side panel.
     For handmade tapestries:  Since tapestries are primarily designed to be “decorative wall-hangings”, these will need to be properly mounted on your wall using the appropriate type of tapestry rod and/or bracket/hook mounting system, which should be available at your local home improvement outlet or store.

Cleaning and Maintenance
     Regularly vacuum your new handmade rug with a high quality vacuum cleaner using straight, even strokes over the middle area, while avoiding vacuuming directly over the rug fringes, as these fringes can sometimes fray and tear.  We recommend that any cleaning or maintenance of your handmade rug or tapestry be performed only by someone that has expert experience in the proper handling, repairing and cleaning of handmade rugs and tapestries.  In most cases, a reputable Oriental or Persian rug dealer in your local area should be able to provide these services for you or refer you to experts who can.

Approximate Sizes
     Although some of the size specifications provided for our handmade products are indicated in specific feet and inch measurements, due to the unique nature of handmade products, in the end, all measurements indicated should be considered approximate and may slightly vary piece to piece.

Item Availability
     All the handmade rugs and tapestries that we feature are offered on a "While Supply Lasts" basis, are only available in the specific sizes indicated and may sell out at any time.  In most cases, if you see a handmade rug or tapestry displayed on this site, it is safe to assume that the item is available and ready for immediate delivery. Although we work to provide the most up-to-date information on our web site, it still can occur that an item "sells out" before we have had an opportunity update this web site.  When this occurs, we always advise you of this fact by telephone or e-mail, before the order is finalized.

     We do offer further discounts from the sale prices specifically listed on this web site when a quantity of two or more of any type of handmade rug or tapestry is ordered at the same time.
